What do you like?

I have always loved reading. The way I read has changed – some of that is due to new technology and some of it is due to new reading glasses. I can get lost in a book or a story even now. I can’t count the number of times I’ve sat outside my destination in the parking lot to listen until the end of the chapter on an audiobook.

As much as I love to read, I don’t love to read everything. Science-fiction isn’t my go-to kind of book. Neither is horror, although I love a good suspense novel. I like to read things that have a resolution at the end of them, don’t leave me hanging or I may not come back for the sequel.

I enjoy reading stories that I can see a bit of myself in. Give me something relatable, a shared experience. Cause an emotional reaction when you echo a memory, especially a pleasant one, and I’ll be a fan for life. Cause a light to come on a encourage me to be a better person? I'll sell your books for you.
